A site of Mayan faith and many treasures. Tulum,  was originaly named "Samma" which translated from Mayan meant "place of dawn between sea and land" was an important center of worship for the so-called "Descending God". This archeological site is one of the best preserved sites in the world and has an amazing view of the ocean given that it is delineated by 10 kilometers of white sand and turquoise water. It´s unique architecture dates from the 12th century and it is know as Oriental Coast Architecture. All temples are arranged and have a relationship with the most important astronomical events that happen during the year.
